Four jars of home, packed the way Naani would.

Every Indian who has left home knows this suitcase. Somewhere between the sweaters and the steel dabba, wrapped in two plastic bags and a prayer, sit the jars of achar. We've packed ours the same way: four pickles from four corners of India, each made in the region it comes from. Tangy ginger and tamarind from Kollam, winter vegetables from Ludhiana, sweet shredded mango from Amdavad and fiery stuffed chillies from Banaras. Send it to the hostel, the new city, the cousin abroad, or keep it for your own table. Home travels well.

What's inside:

  • Kollam Puli Inji: tangy, fiery ginger and tamarind
  • Ludhiana Gobhi Gajar: crunchy carrot and cauliflower with jaggery
  • Amdavadi Aam Chunda: sweet and tangy shredded mango
  • Banarasi Bharwa Lal Mirch: bold stuffed red chillies in mustard oil

All four come in Patang's signature suitcase packaging.
